I was born and raised in the Edmonton area. I have worked throughout Alberta and in Vancouver, British Columbia in health care administration, hospitality services, human resources,
professional development, customer service and professional
development.
We lost our son Caleb in a motor vehicle accident in 2007 and I knew at that very moment, corporate life was no longer a fit for me. I needed to help others going through difficult times. Thus, I entered funeral service and it was in 2009 that I completed my Funeral Director and Embalmer Diploma
through Mount Royal University in Calgary and remain a licensed Funeral
Director in the Province of Alberta. I began my work as a Certified Funeral
Celebrant in 2009 and although I call it 'my work' it has clearly become my calling. I work closely with several funeral homes in the Edmonton and
surrounding areas.
I am the father of three children; Leah (Erik), Lori (Steve) and Deanna (Nathan) and most recently have been blessed with the arrival of my grandson Parker Allan Todd.
I approach my work with an open mind and heart and always come from a place of
love and empathy.
